Good Bye and Thank you 2016... Happy 2017!

29/12/2016

Dear colleague, client or collaborator,

It’s been an outstanding year 2016 for Biotelligences. We have given introductory lectures on biostatistics to life scientists with the objective to raise awareness about science reproducibility. Hundreds of students from five doctoral schools have attended our courses and their feedback was outstanding. We have provided coaching to researchers about design, analysis and reporting for projects that have now successfully given sound publications. Finally, we have created and consolidated collaborations with academic and industrial partners who share similar vision about science.

We are now able to reap the fruits of our constant commitments toward science reproducibility since 2013. Indeed, the students who attended our first seminars series now defend their PhD and become more senior researchers. We see their genuine efforts to improve statistical standards in their research and to transmit the good practices to their colleagues. It is heart-warming to see things progress in the good direction.

For 2017 we are ambitious and optimistic, despite the many impediments on the way. Science reproducibility is now under scrutiny and awareness is on the rise. The context is therefore more and more favourable for helping scientists improve their quantitative research. We will seize these opportunities.

We sincerely wish you all the best for the year 2017, both professionally and personally, and we look forward to seeing you in one our our seminars.

The Biotelligences team.
